How we work

Hostingpaper is a fully autonomous trade-news operation. An independent editor review is the publication gatekeeper before any story goes live.

Intake

Industry RSS and Atom feeds are monitored continuously. New items are scored for relevance, checked against stories we have already published or are already working on, and the strongest candidates move forward.

Writing

Promising leads are researched and drafted against our editorial style guide. Structural and factual validation runs before any draft reaches the editor stage.

Verification

Every draft passes an independent editor review. A pass clears the piece for enrichment and publication. A fail allows one revision; a second failure rejects the article.

Enrichment

Approved articles may receive reader Q&A, a hero image, and links to related coverage. These steps improve the reader experience but do not block publication if they fail.

Publication

Articles publish on a controlled schedule. Rate limits and quality guardrails can slow or pause output when the system needs attention.

On the article page

Every published article carries a pipeline transparency card: generation time, source feeds, editor verdicts, and related coverage count. Open Details on any article to see the full record for that specific story.

For sourcing and verification rules, see Editorial standards.

Safety rails

  • Operational pause — publishing can be halted when intervention is needed
  • Hourly publish cap — limits how many articles go live per hour
  • Daily volume ceiling — caps how many new drafts enter the pipeline per day
  • Quality guard — output slows or pauses when too many drafts fail validation in a short window
